The First Aid course run by Dolomite Training went really well and I now feel far more confident in First Aid after this course. The trainer was really friendly, supportive and so enthusiastic which made the course fun and enjoyable.
Emergency First Aid At Work (HSE approved course)
EFAW training allows successful candidates to perform emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill whilst at work. This course is ideal for organisations with low level hazards and risks or larger organisations who require staff to support fully trained first aiders in their place of work.
Course content
• Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
• Managing an incident
• First Aid priorities
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Shock
• Seizures
• Common workplace injuries
On successful completion of training candidates receive a HSE approved certificate valid for 3 years and a 1st Aid manual.
