If you’ve never heard of weaselling, you’re in for a treat! This is a family favourite and one of the most unique outdoor experiences in the Peak District.
Weaselling involves squeezing through gaps in rocks, crawling through tunnels, and scrambling over boulders, like a human obstacle course built by nature! It’s adventurous, playful, and perfect for younger children (as well as energetic adults!).
At Dolomite Training, our weaselling adventures in the Peak District take place in safe and scenic locations, offering just the right amount of challenge for each group. It’s an ideal option for mixed-ability families who want a truly hands-on day out.

CAVING: Explore an Underground World

Our caving for beginners in the Peak District introduces families to the wonders of the subterranean world in a safe and exciting way. Learn about geology, navigate tunnels, and discover an entirely different side of the landscape.
We tailor each caving trip to suit the ability and confidence of the group, so whether you’re completely new or just curious, there’s a route for you!
Perfect For:
- Curious minds and nature lovers
- Families wanting to explore together
- All-weather adventures
ABSEILING: Step Over the Edge (Safely!)

We run abseiling sessions in secure, instructor-led locations across the region, with expert guidance every step of the way. Our team makes sure that everyone, from the smallest adventurer to the most daring parent or guardian, feels safe and supported as they lower themselves down a rock face.
Abseiling is also one of our go-to activities for stag and hen adventure weekends in the Peak District, school outdoor activity trips, and corporate team-building days. Want to raise money for a cause? Ask us about our fully organised charity abseils!
Perfect For:
