Mountain Bike Skills Course
This Mountain Bike Skills course is run in the Peak District. As a result you can be assured of some great riding alongside our highly qualified instructors.
Throughout the day we will focus on fundamental off road riding skills. Equally we will look to remove any bad habits that may have crept in to your riding style. Both of these elements will give you a solid basis to become a better mountain bike rider.
Our MTB instructors are all CTC or MIAS qualified MTB Guides and use modern coaching techniques to help you get the most from the course. They all live locally so know the best trails to take you on.
Ideally people will have their own bikes but if not we can arrange hire bikes for you. Please feel free to call us to discuss your requirements.

Course Prerequisites: Ideally you should have been mountain biking regularly for around a year. If you ride at trail centres then you may be reasonably happy riding blue graded trails.
Equipment required
A serviced and well maintained mountain bike suitable for off-road riding is a must, as is a helmet. A waterproof jacket, something to drink and a few snacks are also needed. We would strongly recommend wearing gloves, even in the summer. Please contact us if you need to hire a bike.
