This Peak District Mountain Bike Skills course starts with a bike check, warm-up and skills check before introducing the core mountain bike skills. Staff tailor each course to suit the participants so as to provide the best progression for all taking part.
Course Prerequisites: Ideally you should have been mountain biking regularly for around a year. If you ride at trail centres then you may be reasonably happy riding blue graded trails.
A serviced and well maintained mountain bike suitable for off-road riding is a must, as is a helmet. A waterproof jacket, something to drink and a few snacks are also needed. We would strongly recommend wearing gloves, even in the summer. Please contact us if you need to hire a bike.
