If you’re looking to explore the great outdoors from a new perspective, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the Peak District is the perfect way to dive in! Whether you’re completely new to the sport or looking to level up your skills, Dolomite Training offers fun, safe, and fully guided SUP lessons in the Peak District for individuals, families, schools, and groups of all sizes.

What’s SUP (see what we did there) and Why Try It?

On the off chance you have never heard of it, SUP refers to stand-up paddleboarding and is one of the fastest-growing outdoor adventure activities in the Peak District (and all over the UK to be fair). Combining balance, paddling skills, and a love of nature, it’s a fantastic full-body workout and an incredibly fun way to spend time on the water.

With Dolomite Training, you’ll learn:

  • How to safely mount and balance on the board
  • Basic paddle strokes and turning techniques
  • How to best manage your height
  • Water safety awareness

It’s beginner-friendly and completely addictive – don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Where We Paddle: Beautiful Peak District Waters

The Peak District offers stunning spots ideal for both beginners and more skilled paddleboarders looking to experience the adventurous white-water settings!

We’ll choose locations based on individual or group needs, weather, and accessibility. All locations are risk-assessed, fully insured, and chosen to match the ability level of your group.

Tailored SUP Lessons for Groups & All Ages

We know that one size doesn’t fit all, which is why our SUP lessons in the Peak District are designed to be flexible and fun, whatever your group or goals.

Whether you’re booking:

  • A private 1-to-1 SUP lesson
  • A family paddleboarding adventure day

…we’ll tailor the session to your needs, pace, and abilities.

Age-appropriate coaching ensures that everyone gets the most out of the experience, with plenty of time to play, explore, and develop confidence on the water. Our stipulation is all participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25m and be at least 14 years of age for our open sessions and 11 years of age for private sessions. Chat to us about the best options for your group.
